It has come to our notice recently that fake job offers in the name of Sears Holdings India, Sears IT & Management Services India Private Limited and Sears Global Technologies India Private Limited (collectively referred to as “Sears”) are being circulated by some unauthorized persons / fraudsters. Currently, these fraudsters are using variants of the names Logiwhiz and/or Mr. Pramod. These fraudsters are using these names and/or similar sounding names to solicit false job applications. These fraudsters have been making these false solicitations by sending false e-mails or by making fraudulent telephone calls. In the false e-mails and fraudulent phone conversations, the fraudsters require job seekers to pay processing fees or deposit amount in exchange for an interview call. The fraudsters using the variants of the name Logiwhiz and/or Mr. Pramod are not authorized to perform any recruitment activities or otherwise on behalf of Sears. Unlike these false solicitations, Sears never seeks nor accepts any money from job seekers at any point in the interview or selection process. Sears employs a merit-based employee selection practice.

Anyone responding to, or accepting such fraudulent offers from third parties such as Logiwhiz and/or Mr. Pramod are doing so at their own risk. Sears is not, nor can it be, responsible for any misrepresentation by these (or any other) fraudsters. Sears does not, nor is it able to, accept any liability for such fraudulent representation and/or consequences arising out of interactions that anyone has, or may have, with these third-party fraudsters. Any communication with these fraudsters is not, nor should it be treated as, any kind of offer or representation by Sears. If any person receives unsolicited or fraudulent communication with a job offer or an interview call from such third parties against payment of money, Sears strongly advises against responding in any way to the fraudsters. Sears also strongly advises against sharing any information with the fraudsters. Anyone who has had, or in future has, any communication with these fraudsters should immediately notify Sears.
